Between Benaulim and Cavelossim, Varca is famed for wide white sands, gentle surf and village fishing boats. It matured as a resort belt after the 1990s yet stays quieter than North Goa. Good to know: lifeguards patrol and dolphin trips launch at dawn. Peak sunsets Nov–Feb; fewer shacks in monsoon. Feast days at nearby churches (e.g., Our Lady of Gloria) add music to evenings in season.
