Museum Of Christian Art ( Moca ) - History details

Asia’s first dedicated Museum of Christian Art, founded 1994 (inaugurated by President Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma), now housed in the Convent of Santa Monica, Old Goa; reopened after a major 2017–2020 upgrade in May 23, 2022. Collections showcase Indo-Portuguese sacred art (16th–20th c.), embroidered vestments, metalwork and ivories. Open daily 10:00–17:00.
