This 16th‑century mausoleum in Sayedpura commemorates Khudawand Khan (Khwaja Safar Sulemani), the Gujarat Sultanate governor who fortified Surat and oversaw the 1546 completion of Surat Castle against repeated Portuguese raids. The roza’s lattice work reflects late‑medieval Indo‑Islamic craft; it lies near Chowk Bazaar and other heritage stops.
