Located in Ray village, Burmu block, about 40 km west of Ranchi, Tiru Fall is a tall ~300‑ft monsoon waterfall surrounded by dense forest and rocky ravines. Locals visit for picnics and Sankranti fairs; travellers use the Pithoria or Ratu route. The site is scenic but requires caution due to slippery rocks and deep pools, especially in monsoon. Best season: July–February.
