Tara Mandir Planetarium - History details

Tara Mandir in Porbandar, inaugurated in 1977, is one of India’s earliest planetariums. Dedicated to the Non‑Cooperation Movement, it showcases astronomy through dome projections of stars and planets. Built with support from philanthropist Nanjibhai Mehta, it remains popular among students and families.
