Shabari Dham, Tapi - History details

Shabari Dham near Subir in Dang is linked to the Ramayana, where Lord Rama met Shabari after years of her penance and tasted her ber fruits. The temple built around 2004 preserves three stones believed to mark the meeting. Surrounded by dense Dandakaranya forests and near Pampa Sarovar, it is a major pilgrimage site.
