Developed from the 2000s onward, this urban waterfront project transformed the Sabarmati banks with promenades, gardens, cycling tracks and event plazas. Geography: stretches across Ahmedabad–Gandhinagar corridor. Interesting fact: hosts the annual International Kite Festival in January. Special dates: Uttarayan (14 Jan) sees massive gatherings.
