Navratangarh Fort ( Gumla ) - History details

Navratangarh, situated in Sisai block of Gumla district, was the 17th‑century capital of the Nagvanshi dynasty. The remnants include stone fortifications, palace ruins, watchtowers and water systems. Though partially dilapidated, the site is archaeologically important and highlights the region’s royal history. Surrounding forests and rural landscapes give the fort a scenic, untouched charm.
