Raised in the mid‑19th century by the Jadeja rulers of Nawanagar, Lakhota Palace sits on an island in Ranmal (Lakhota) Lake at the heart of Jamnagar. The fort‑like palace, linked by a causeway, houses a museum of Kshatrapa coins, sculptures and armour. Interesting: lake views at sunset are superb; winter birdlife is active. Special dates: heritage walks peak Nov–Feb in the cool season.
