Girmal Waterfall - History details

Girmal Waterfall, located in the dense forests of Dang inside Purna Wildlife Sanctuary, is Gujarat’s highest waterfall at over 100 feet. Historical references highlight its scenic monsoon fog and rainbow formations, and the Forest Department has developed viewpoints including the notable U-turn point where the Gira River curves dramatically. Best visited July–December, it lies near Subir and Ahwa, offering pristine natural beauty.
