Dassam (Dasham) Falls drops ~44 m on the Kanchi/Subarnarekha system east of Ranchi. Beyond the main staircase approach, a lesser‑known Top View Point at Tarub gives a panoramic, distant frame of the whole cascade and forested gorge. Best in monsoon to winter; avoid cliff edges and heed safety boards—currents are strong.
