A UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2004, this park preserves 8th–16th century Hindu‑Jain‑Islamic monuments built by Chauhan and Sultan Mahmud Begada. Geography: volcanic Pavagadh hill and plains of Champaner. Interesting fact: Jama Masjid is considered a precursor to Mughal architecture. Special dates: Navratri draws thousands to Pavagadh hill.
