Thusharagiri - History details

Thusharagiri Waterfalls lie ~50 km east of Kozhikode at Kodanchery on the Kozhikode–Wayanad corridor. Three main falls are linked by forest treks; the name means “snow-capped” from the mist. Managed as an eco-tourism site by the Forest Department; best months Sept–Dec. There’s also a classic trek route towards Vythiri (Wayanad).
