Karapuzha Dam, Adventure Park & Garden - History details

Karapuzha is one of India’s large earth‑fill dams, built across the Karapuzha River in Wayanad (construction 1977; completed 2004). The tourism zone by the reservoir has a landscaped garden and an adventure park with activities like zip‑line and giant swing. Birding, boating and island views make it a family favourite near Ambalavayal/Meenangadi.
