Set on a hill near Napier Museum, Kanakakkunnu Palace was built during the Travancore era (Sree Moolam Thirunal). Today it hosts cultural festivals such as the Nishagandhi dance fest and is noted as India’s first digital garden. The lawns, Sooryakanthi and Nishagandhi auditoriums make it a vibrant city venue.
