Also known as Yathothkari Perumal Temple, this shrine dates to the Pallava era and is among the oldest Vishnu temples in Kanchipuram. Its unique deity reclines on the serpent couch with head to the left, unlike other temples. Legends link it to Thirumazhisai Alwar and divine obedience, earning the name “Sonnavannam Seidha” (He who did as told). The temple’s Dravidian architecture and sacred tank add to its charm.
