Sri Baladevjew Temple, Keonjhar - History details
Keonjhar’s Baladevjew (Jagannath) Temple is attributed to Raja Laxminarayan Bhanja (1671) of the Bhanja dynasty. The c.135‑ft shrine worships Lord Balaram with Jagannath and Subhadra; its Ratha Yatra is renowned for an exceptionally tall chariot (~72 ft). The complex follows Odishan temple forms with cultural festivals round the year.
