Peacock Valley - History details
Peacock Valley near Naraj in Cuttack was established by conservationist Pannu Behera after the 1999 cyclone sheltered wild peacocks in the area. Today over a hundred peacocks gather during morning and evening feeding hours. The valley overlooks the Mahanadi River and offers serene nature walks, birdwatching opportunities and tranquil green surroundings ideal for photography and peaceful family outings.
