Pampanal Waterfalls - History details

Pampanal Waterfalls near Manathoor in Kottayam flows in three tiers along the Pala–Thodupuzha corridor. Historically a local picnic spot, it grew in popularity after road widening in the 2010s. Its geography includes rubber plantations and rocky valleys of the mid‑highlands. Best seen in monsoon (June–September), the fall drops nearly 50 m through forested slopes.
