Dhenkanal Science Center - History details
Inaugurated 5 June 1995 by Union Minister Madhavrao Scindia, this NCSM unit is Odisha’s first district‑level science centre. It features interactive galleries, a Science Park, 3D shows and a Taramandal; a Mobile Science Exhibition bus carries hands‑on exhibits to rural schools. Located near Rajbati, the centre marks special days such as National Science Day with seminars, shows and competitions.
