Visvesvaraya Industrial & Technological Museum - History details

Established in memory of Sir M. Visvesvaraya and inaugurated by Jawaharlal Nehru on 14 July 1962 at Cubbon Park. A unit of NCSM, it began with the 'Electrotechnic' gallery in 1965 and now houses interactive halls like Engine Hall and Space Technology.
