Thirichittoor Rock ( Thirichitta Paara ) - History details

Thirichittoor Rock, located three kilometres north of Nedumangad, hosts shrines to Hanuman, Shiva, and Vishnu. Rising about 150 metres, it overlooks Nedumangad and Trivandrum. Local lore claims Hanuman returned this rock after the Ramayana bridge mission, giving it the name ‘Thirichitta’. Devotees visit during Hanuman Jayanti, with regular temple hours morning and evening.
