St. Philomena’s Cathedral, completed in 1936 in Neo‑Gothic style inspired by Cologne Cathedral, is among Asia’s tallest churches. Maharaja Krishnaraja Wadiyar IV laid its foundation in 1933, housing relics of St. Philomena and stained‑glass panels depicting Christ’s life.
