Sharqat Park, Belagavi - History details

Inaugurated on 29 Oct 2014, this memorial‑garden in Camp, Belagavi commemorates the Battle of Sharqat (1918) and the sacrifice of 114 Marathas of the Maratha Light Infantry. Landscaped with fountains, bridges and walk tracks, it also displays an artillery gun, and is maintained by the Cantonment Board as a family park and tribute space.
