Shahganj Masjid - History details

The Shahganj Masjid (Masjid-e-Shahganj Kala'n) is a historic mosque in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, constructed around 1720 by the then-governor (subhedar), Iwaz Khan. Located in the city's old market square, it is considered one of Aurangabad's finest examples of Mughal-style architecture. The mosque is known for its beautiful facade, prominent dome, and an ancient clock tower.
