Hatti Barav Elephant Well - History details
Hatti Barav, or the Elephant Well, is a historic stepwell located in the Darewadi village near Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. Believed to have originated during the Yadav period around 1200 CE, it was significantly rebuilt and expanded under the Nizam Shahi dynasty in the 16th and 17th centuries.
