A historic city gate on the old Bidar bazaar axis, later called Shah Ganj after a grain market set up nearby in the 19th century; tradition links its orientation to Makkah. Sited on the Bidar plateau rim, it frames access between Ambedkar Chowk and Chaubara. Interesting: dressed‑stone facing shows repairs. Special: illuminated during local festivals and processions.
