Sewri Mangrove Park - History details
The Sewri Mangrove Park, located on the eastern shore of Mumbai, is a vital coastal ecosystem known for its rich biodiversity and as a winter home for thousands of migratory flamingos. The park, covering 15 acres, is situated on the mudflats between Sewri and Trombay, and its conservation is a joint effort by the Bombay Port Trust (BPT) and the Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS).
