Hampi’s highest viewpoint rises above the bazaar with trails to a Veerabhadra shrine. Tied to Ramayana lore (Sage Matanga; Vali’s curse), it offers sweeping sunrise/sunset views over the Tungabhadra, Achyutaraya complex and boulder‑scape. Stone‑stepped paths from the Nandi or Achyutaraya side reach the summit in ~25–35 minutes.
