Malpe Sea Walk - History details

Opened in 2018, the Malpe Sea Walk is a ~450‑m promenade at Malpe, Udupi, set between the Arabian Sea and the Swarna/Papanashini river mouth. It offers sunset viewpoints, art installations and a Jatayu sculpture, with St. Mary’s Island visible offshore. The walkway extends from the harbour area and is a popular evening stroll for locals and visitors; seasonal festivals and beach events happen nearby.
