Started in 1991 and upgraded in 2015 under KSCSTE, this 40–45 acre Olavanna campus conserves India’s largest living collection of aquatic plants (400+ spp.). Geography: a wetland–to–laterite hill gradient ideal for ex‑situ marsh conservation; ‘Hortus Valley’ interprets van Rheede’s 17th‑century Hortus Malabaricus. Interesting: eight specialised greenhouses. Special hours: open 10:00–17:00 on working days.
