Mahakali Caves - History details
The Mahakali Caves, also known as the Kondivite Caves, are a group of 19 ancient Buddhist rock-cut monuments located in the Andheri East suburb of Mumbai. Carved from a solid mountain of black basalt rock, the caves date back to between the 1st century BCE and the 6th century CE.
