Magajahalli Abbi Falls - History details

Magajahalli Abbi Falls, near Hanbal in Hassan district, is a 20‑ft monsoon‑fed cascade surrounded by Western Ghats greenery. Known also as Abbi Gundi or Hanbal Falls, it lies at the foothills of the Pushpagiri range. Historically a local picnic halt, the falls peak post‑monsoon (July–December). Sweeping views and easy access from Sakleshpur make it a favored stop for trekkers.
