Commissioned on 15 September 1984, the Kasaragod Lighthouse stands as a coastal navigation aid built after the region joined Kerala in 1956. Located near the beach, it replaced earlier wooden masts once used for signalling. Visitors today enjoy panoramic sea views and the iconic black‑and‑white tower.
