Jogeshwari Caves - History details
The Jogeshwari Caves, located in the Mumbai suburb of Jogeshwari, are one of the earliest and largest Hindu cave temple complexes in India. Dating back to around 520 to 550 CE, these ancient rock-cut structures are dedicated primarily to the goddess Yogeshwari and Lord Shiva.
