A Mughal‑period pleasure palace (1590–91) built by Shah Quli Khan, Jal Mahal stands on a causeway in the middle of Khan Sarovar at Narnaul. The square chamber with corner pavilions and a domed cupola reflects Indo‑Persian aesthetics; restoration has reopened views across the tank where the bridge of 16 arches leads to the gatehouse.
