Anjaneri Hill, located about 20 km from Nashik, forms part of the Western Ghats’ Trimbakeshwar range. Rising to roughly 1,280 m, it’s traditionally believed to be the birthplace of Lord Hanuman, named after his mother, Anjana—legend even points to a foot-print-shaped depression near the summit.
