Harsh Ka Tila - History details
Harsh Ka Tila, an archaeological mound on Kurukshetra’s outskirts, preserves cultural layers from the Vedic era (1300–300 BCE) to the 19th century. Excavated from 1987–1991 by ASI archaeologist B.M. Pandey, it contains Kushan, Gupta, Vardhan, Rajput, and Mughal‑era artifacts including pottery, seals, terracotta figures, and structures. It lies near Sheikh Chilli’s Tomb.
