En Ooru Tribal Heritage Village - History details

Inaugurated on 4 June 2022, En Ooru is Kerala’s first Tribal Heritage Village, built on a 25‑acre hillock near Pookode to showcase Paniya, Kuruma, Kurichya, Adiya and Kattunaikka cultures. The village features traditional huts, markets, an open‑air theatre and seasonal food and art festivals. Shuttle jeeps operate from the base station.
