Cauvery Sai Dhama, Mandya - History details

Situated on the banks of the River Cauvery near Doddegowdanakoppalu (Pandavapura taluk), the ashram–temple is hailed as the ‘Shirdi of the South’. It stands between a 150‑year‑old Omkareswara shrine and a ~300‑year Vanadevata shrine; a Dhuni lit from embers brought from Shirdi has burned continuously for over a decade. Riverine greenery frames the complex, which hosts major Sai‑aradhanas and daily meditation retreats.
