Inaugurated on 7 January 2007 beside Our Lady of Dolours Basilica, the 79‑m (260‑ft) Bible Tower is India/Asia’s tallest church tower. Geography: a city‑centre landmark overlooking the Thrissur ‘Round’. Interesting: interiors show Jesus’s healings in stained glass, miracles in brass and St. Thomas frescoes; a red cross crowns the top. Special hours: Tue–Fri 10:00–18:00; Sat–Sun 10:00–19:30; Monday closed.
