Agroha Dham, Hisar - History details

Constructed between 1976 and 1984 at Agroha, this grand temple complex honors Mahalakshmi and Maharaja Agrasen, founder of the Agrawal community. Adjacent to the ancient Agroha Mound, it includes the Shakti Sarovar, filled in 1988 with water from 41 rivers. The annual Agroha Maha Kumbh during Sharad Purnima (Oct–Nov) attracts thousands of devotees.
