As there is a "Town Park" in the area, it is not located in Chandigarh but in the neighboring city of Panchkula. Chandigarh itself is famous for its numerous other gardens and parks, which were designed by the city's architect, Le Corbusier, as part of the city's green belt, known as the Leisure Valley.
