On the Hamirpur–Awahdevi road, Tauni Devi Temple is a Shakti shrine tied to Chauhan clan lore and believed 300–350 years old. Legends say a mute sister, Tauni, vanished here after penance during Ashadha; devotees still strike stones to convey wishes.
