Sinthan Top - History details

Sinthan Top (12,414 ft) is a high mountain pass connecting Kishtwar with South Kashmir’s Breng Valley. Set on NH‑244, it offers sweeping 360° views and snowy slopes for much of the year. Once mainly a shepherd route, it now draws offbeat travellers for scenic drives, trekking and winter sports; nearby Achabal, Kokernag and Daksum make classic halts en route.
