Jammu’s landmark temple complex of seven shrines was started by Maharaja Gulab Singh (1835) and completed by Maharaja Ranbir Singh (1860). Dedicated to Lord Rama, it houses a major manuscript library and gilded spires, forming one of North India’s largest temple ensembles in the city’s old quarter.
