Qila Rai Pithora Park - History details
Qila Rai Pithora Park in South Delhi is a historic park that contains the ruins of the first medieval city of Delhi. The fort, originally built as Lal Kot by the Tomar dynasty in the 8th century, was later expanded and renamed Qila Rai Pithora by the Chauhan ruler Prithviraj Chauhan in the 12th century.
