National Fossil Park Ghughwa - History details
The National Fossil Park in Ghughwa, now officially known as Mandla Plant Fossils National Park, is a significant geosite in the Dindori district of Madhya Pradesh. It was established in 1983 to preserve a vast collection of 65-million-year-old plant fossils, which provide evidence of ancient flora from the time of the Gondwana Supercontinent.
