Mutiny Memorial - History details
The Mutiny Memorial, now known as Ajitgarh, is a historic monument located on the Northern Ridge in North Delhi. It was originally built by the British to commemorate their soldiers who died during the 1857 Indian Rebellion, but its meaning was reinterpreted after India's independence to honor the Indian freedom fighters.
