Murlen National Park - History details

Murlen National Park is a secluded biodiversity hotspot in the Champhai district of Mizoram, close to the Indo-Myanmar border. Established in 1991, its dense semi-evergreen and sub-montane forests have been compared to the jungles of the Amazon for their thickness, with some areas receiving very little sunlight.
